These are the components of an average day for Jacob Lammers in his mission with Cru.
I meet with a student for 2 hours to mentor them in their personal relationship with Jesus.
If they are a student leader, we discuss their responsibilities and goals in ministry.
We share the gospel together regularly during this time.
This changes day-to-day but can consist of
student leader Bible studies
dorm Bible studies
large group worship
and teaching and our international student weekly meeting.
Practical ministry training with another staff member.
I read books on ministry, business and relationships to improve different aspects of my job.
Discipleship, staff meetings, training, even evangelism requires planning and preparation.
On campus approaching students with the hope of sharing the gospel with them.
Teaching and showing students how to share their faith.
A gift of $300 funds one day of work on campus. Pray about how much impact you’d like to make on college students with your donation.
